Enjoy the following photographer interview with New Mexico based Terrence Largo [TERROR]OGRAPHER.

Q: Define the word “beauty”!
A: The deepest view and perspective that is captured through out the core of the world and people.

Q: What is your most favorite and least favorite word in photography or life? How do they make you feel?
A: Fashion, I hate it. Its overrated and annoying.

Q: Do you like to talk about yourself or your pictures? If yes, about what aspects of photography? If no, why?
A: I would like to but I leave my photography to the viewers imagination. Everything I capture does have a story though.

Q: How would you describe your attention span?
A: Not that great lately, it can be sharp sometimes.

Q: When did you decide to become a photographer?
A: I’ve always liked photography, naturally I have a talent for it.

Q: What does photography mean to you?
A: It means a great deal, I feel I can express myself through photography, others see me as an artist for it. I like that.

Q: Can you recall the first photo you took that made you go wow!?
A: Yeah a lot actually, one I took today will amaze me for weeks from now =]

Q: Do you have any formal training regarding photography?
A: Somewhat, I read a lot about photography, I’m more practical with it.

Q: How technical is your photography?
A: I do digital and Photoshop and its great.

Q: How do you feel about cropping?
A: I don’t crop much at all, or don’t actually. I like the whole picture.

Q: Where is your favorite place to live and work as a photographer in the world and why?
A: So far its the beautiful southwest of the U.S. It’s awesome where I live, I know I can accomplish more elsewhere.

Q: How does your personality change when you look through the camera?
A: It doesn’t, it seems to enhance haha.

Q: How do you feel about missed shots which cannot be recreated?
A: I can almost cry.

Q: Ever concerned about failure?
A: Sometimes, I don’t think about it. Positivity and creativity keeps me going.

Q: Who are your influences?
A: Anyone and everyone from anywhere and everywhere.

Q: What is your favorite image, either your own or someone else’s or both? Describe its creation or meaning to you?
A: In the moment shots, because they’re naturally taken and can never be recreated.

Q: Describe a day in your personal or professional life.
A: School , work and fun. My life is simple free and awesome. Its unpredictable and that’s how I like it, anything goes.

Q: What are the biggest personal or professional challenges you face on a daily basis?
A: keeping my priorities and responsibilities in tact. I wish I didn’t have to worry about my bills.

Q: What has been the single biggest obstacle against growing as a photographer in whole?
A: Not having an SLR camera to capture what I really wanted to go for.

Q: What are your favorite subjects to photograph?
A: Landscapes, nature, people, music and a lot of random things.

Q: Tell your funniest, scariest, most bizarre, most touching story from a photo shoot!
A: Just recently, I photographed a friend in the deep woods near a bridge and we heard little noises from every corner and what I had captured its obvious what was going on. Terror in the flesh. We ran till we got back to my car it was a fun and adrenaline pumping awesome time.

Q: Have you ever thought about or actually stopped doing photography? What were the circumstances?
A: I haven’t stopped yet, I’m still kinda amateur.

Q: Do you ever have photographer’s block and if yes how do you deal with it?
A: I don’t, not yet.

Q: What types of assignments are you attracted most?
A: Music and fun.

Q: Describe what black and white photography means to you?
A: Its real photography, color tends to lead the views elsewhere.

Q: Do you think of yourself as an artist and what do you think of the word artist?
A: I do, artists are interesting people. I’m simple though.

Q: How do you describe your photographic style?
A: New age and sharp, dark and light.

Q: What has been the most surprising or most predictable reaction to your photographs?
A: Amazing! Awesome! Wow! Omg!

Q: tell a little secret about yourself that no-one knows …
A: I have a high tolerance of common ignorance.

Q: Who or what would you love to shoot that you haven’t already?
A: some serious models and all the challenging things I haven’t thought about yet.

Q: What would you have done differently during your photography career so far and could this be an advice to others?
A: I’m just starting my career I hope its a rad one!

Q: What are your thoughts on the paparazzi and their effects on photographers and photography?
A: Nonsense and disrespectful I don’t know where to begin.

Q: How do you feel about digital manipulation and to what extent do you utilize it?
A: I only adjust the contrast, color and exposure. Nothing else really. I like the natural look, just a little enhanced.

Q: What other thoughts would you like to share?
A: I have a lot, ask me more. I’m sure it’ll come to mind.
