Q: Do you think going to school for hairstyling is important to excel in the business later on?

A: School – No ! .. .. You only need to have confidence in self, positivity & GOD .

Q: Did you always long to be an artist, or did you stumble upon your talent by chance? Who or what inspired you to become a hair stylist?

A: I have enjoyed being a innovator since birth, I remember I use to make airplanes of of garbage wheels and metal crates.(lol) I love being creative, its just my way of expressing what I cannot say. My inspiration for my artistry grows more, its apparent love for beautiful people.

A: I graduated from Flavios Beauty College in Torrance California. I have been doing hair for over 15 years and wanted to pursue a career in the field. I started doing basic makeup for friends and their weddings and just playing around, then I got a little serious. I have my cosmetology license from the state of California now.

Q: Do you think going to school for hairstyling is important to excel in the business later on?
A: For sure I think that going to school shows that you are serious about your career and in these days people want to see something tangible and that you are serious.

A: No. Though I was doing hair from my youth, I always thought I would be a Doctor Or Lawyer. So I would Say I stumbled upon it. One of my inspirations was my godmother, who has now passed on. May the Spirit of the True and Living GOD Rest Her Soul. She worked for the state and had a full fledged shop in her house in the 70’s. She would aid my mother in caring for my hair.
