Russian Fashion And Lingerie Model Photography On Belgian Cow Field

Belgium is not the Mecca of visual excitement but with some creativity it is possible to dream up picture worthy scenarios.
Contrast equals drama and excitement so I decided to do lingerie model photography on the cow fields of Belgium to have a little fun and even come home with good photos.
I should have done some cow scouting before the photoshoot because as soon as we got to our location the cows decided to head back to their barns. Thanks to a curious horse we did end up with some animal shots and for the rest of the photos I just did what I enjoy most: improvise.
My Russian model Angelina loves to shop so we had a great variety of clothes, lingerie and accessories to choose from. Not to mention her strong look, the type which I always have been drawn to.

I love the lingerie and boots together, on this photo I am playing with lines and composition.
Not working in a studio and doing practically every photoshoot on a different location with different models offers never ending learning opportunities and a chance to play with many different ideas.
What woman have not had terrible nightmares about their car breaking down in the countryside and all they are wearing is lingerie?
On the flip side some men or women may have had more pleasant dreams about driving by boring cow fields just to find a distresses Russian lingerie model who needs a jump.
Possibly a AAA commercial? Oh, why did I let my AAA Roadside Assistance expire? And I am not even a blonde lingerie model .. so mad at myself!
Not having cows as extras was not the only challenge during this photoshoot, we also got rained out. So the interior of the model’s car became our mini studio. Thanks to my trusty Nikon Speedlight SB-800 it was possible to use flash even from a short distance, and by short I mean from 3 feet or less.
The red lips, the strong features of the model coupled with the dark designer sunglasses and almost black car interior added a mix of intimate and high fashion mood to the photo.
Sitting on the driver’s seat this is as wide as I could get with my widest angle lens which was good enough to successfully compose this lingerie picture. The photo was obviously taken in the back seat of a car which is an appropriate location for a suggestive but still stylish theme.
It was even possible to take some portrait photos, this is one of my favorites: the strong features of the model offset by the feminine color of the pink bra!
As the rain stopped and we were getting out of the car I snapped a few casual, smiling, playful portraits which were not as serious as the previous images showcasing the model’s softer side.
Angelina and I have great chemistry which cannot be faked and definitely shows in the pictures we take together. We happen to have the same birthday (not the year) so maybe that also plays a part (plus being Virgos .. which happens to be the greatest sign).
Playing with color matching the green pasture of the cow fields and experimenting with some subtle modeling poses.
Here the color of the bandana and long coat nicely matches the color of this friendly and curious horse.
Angling of the camera was important with this composition to achieve an interesting and dynamic image considering the arrangements of the subjects. Shooting this picture vertically “straight up” would have resulted in a more static look and more boring aesthetics.
I like this fun composition; everyone knows working with kids or animals is challenging and this day was no different, I only had seconds to get a useful picture from this setup.
Model striking a fierce pose! I like the triangle cut of the top and the denim short shorts, they’re repeating shapes which really work great together. Also love the earthy look of the model and the mood conveyed.
