Celebrity makeup artist moves to Honolulu … Wendy Robin, a Hollywood celebrity makeup artist is the creator of Studio W of Honolulu and Stargirl Cosmetics.
With over 20 years extensive experience in a full range of makeup techniques, she now shares her talents with all women.

Trained at the renowned Sunset Gower Studio Makeup Academy in Hollywood, Wendy began her career as a makeup artist for print photographers in Paris.

Since then, she has worked with numerous A-list celebrities in the film, television, and modeling industries, serving as makeup department head and key makeup artist on film and TV projects.Wendy’s experience includes numerous movie and television credits. Some of the celebrities who Wendy has worked her magic on include Matt Damon, Carmen Electra, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Billy Crystal, Lil Kim, Matthew Broderick, Frances Fisher, Tilda Swinton, Chad Lowe, Matthew McConaughey, Don Cheadle, Amy Madigan, James Earl Jones, Jack Black, Tony Curtis, Roger Daltry, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Delta Burke, Matthew Fox, Michelle Rodriguez, Ali Landry, Sandra Oh, Loni Anderson, Jaime Pressly, Raw Sun, Fiji, Simon Baker, and Mario Lopez.

Wendy’s expertise in the field of airbrush makeup led her to become the original department head of makeup (from the pilot episode through the first two seasons) of “The Bernie Mac Show”, one of the first sitcoms to be filmed entirely in hi-def. She was the personal makeup artist for Bernie Mac, Kellita Smith, and a veritable who’s who of guest stars.When the show was on hiatus, Wendy decided to make her move to Hawaii.

As a member of local union 665, the International Alliance of Television and Screen Employees, and an affiliate member of 706 in Los Angeles, Wendy continues to be hired for productions filming in Hawaii and also acts as a creative consultant for productions in development. She is considered a significant asset to any production team because of her diverse experience, training and talent.

Wendy says, “Using my experience as a template, I decided to create a line of beauty products. That’s how Stargirl Cosmetics was born. And, since I feel a special spiritual connection to Hawaii, it only made sense for me to use my talents in paradise – on the beautiful island of Oahu.”
