Sammy Kistell Special Effects Makeup Artist in North West, UK

Hi there, I am a freelance makeup artist who is at present working in the UK. I completed both a diploma and degree with high achievement grades in all areas of my makeup studies.

I have worked in sectors of the media ranging from Film, Theatre, Advertising, Promotional and Workshop based work. I absolutely love my job and can actually say I go to work for the love of it.

I have equal number of theatre productions as films under my belt and I am penned in for 3 feature films for 2008.
I have worked as assistant, artist and also supervised a team in my work. I don't have a preference as to my favourite makeups as i feel this can make a job become monotonous.

I love challenges and my belief is if I haven't done it my aim is to do it. I love both the beauty and the special effects makeup.
I have worked hard to achieve what I have over the past 5 years and will take on most jobs especially if it means challenging myself.
