Cynthia was born in Brooklyn New York and raised in Atlanta Georgia. She has always had a strong creativity and a love for makeup. She got her early start in high school landing the role as makeup artist for her high school dance team for which she also served as captain!
By prom time she was getting all the girls ready sketching their dresses accessorizing and showing them how to do their makeup!She was always developing her craft keeping up with new trends and techniques. After completing high school she went on to Hampton University in Hampton Virginia where her love for cosmetics grew she became a Mary Kay consultant and practically lived at the MAC counter!
She sold makeup and began teaching her classmates all about makeup. After college she moved back to her hometown of Brooklyn and took a Mall retail job where she was lucky if her paycheck made it out of the mall on payday her coworkers began calling her the "MAC Girl" and they also consulted her for all of their makeup needs.
She teamed up with a local DJ and did all her girls' makeup for the big parties. Cynthia began to outgrow her retail job but makeup was always a side passion for her working on close family and friends so she took a job at Bank of America everyone thought that would be the smartest most stable job to take...and in the blink of an eye the United States economy hit the biggest economic recession since the Great Depression of the 1930's and she was laid off!
It was then that Cynthia realized she had to use her god given talent to her own advantage! MesmerEYEZMUA was born! So she decided to take a makeup course to develop her skills and learn new techniques, she passed with flying colors and went on to become a Certified Professional Makeup Artist!!
Since that time she has done several fashion shows such as Brooklyn Fashion week and Thurgood Marshall College Fund's Front Row featuring designers such as: Edwing D'Angelo, Esther Nash, Byron Lars, Russell Simmons (Phat Farm), Annie S. Intimates and even Wal-Mart. She has worked on clients such as designers, Ms. Black and Edwing D'Angelo himself! As well as ANTM Cycle 9 contestants Bianca Golden and Ebony Morgan.
Cynthia now does freelance work for MAC Cosmetics and private clients. She does Fashion/Runway, Editorial, Film, Print, Music Videos, Bridal, Proms, Graduations, Special Events and she also does her own private makeup parties for women who know a little bit about makeup but want to know more or just want to unwind and have a little fun with their girlfriends.
