Designer Marilyn Loperfido’s main philosophy is fashion for the individual. A world renown fiber artist & jeweler, and a stalwart in the Arts & Crafts Community and Movement in California, the United States, and the world. In 1982, she took a piece of her family’s Italian tapestry heirloom and began making handbags.

Patrons and fans began insisting that she begin making jackets, coats, and outerwear accessories which she did with the added practicality that everything be 100% machine washable and dryable; and come pre-washed & pre-shrunk to the lucky few who own one!

Marilyn is never one to sit on her laurels, and is always looking to excite and enthuse her patrons & supporters. She now offers the option of crystallizations with Swarovski ® on her entire line!

Marilyn’s outerwear, handbag, and accessory collections have been delight of her countless customers and clients because they are timeless, unique, contemporary and most importantly practical!

They look just as great for that funky casual “jeans” ensemble, as they do for that most important fashionable night-on-the-town date! Because they are 100% machine washable & dryable they make excellent travel & resort wear.

She meets with her mill representatives twice a year and delights that most of her fabrics are domestically manufactured! Marilyn has been featured in Women’s Wear Daily, and contributed her line to some of the most prestigious museum and gallery gift collections throughout the United States and the world.
