I Am A Practicing Licensed Master Cosmetologist By Trade. However, I Specialize In Male Hair Care and Grooming as Well as Natural Hair; Particularly Locking and Styling Techniques.
I Am An Artist Of Sorts, So I Am A Picasso With The Designs In THe Hair Too. I Was One Of The Youngest Females To Pioneer The Cutting Game In The A.T.L.(ATLANTA) At A Ripe Age Of 22 years of age.
Within Six Months In The Industry I Was Doing Celebrities And Worked With THe Likes Of Morris Chestnut,Lisa Raye, Traveled As Ray Lewis Personal Stylist For A Period Of Time, Bell, Biv, Devoe, And Numerous Artists, Actors, Actresses, Professional Athletes, Comedians Business Professionals, Companies Like Goodies Products, Three Year Volunteer For St. Baldwicks Charity, Etc...
It Started As A Hobby As A Young Lady Of 9 Years Of Age. I Got Serious About 22 And Began To Learn My Way Around The Industry. I Was Encouraged By My Peers To Enter A State Competition. I Won 3#rd Place In A Total Look Cutting Competition For The State Of Georgia With Product Company A. Fitz And Was Placed As The Number One Student In The State.
I'd Gone Up Against Hundreds Of Competitors To Claim That Title. That Was A REAL Confidence Booster Because It Was Then I Realized I Was More Than Just Ordinary. But Being A Young Attractive Female In A Male Dominated Field Was Tough And Came At A Price.The Male Ego Won't Make Room For The Fact That A Woman Is Winning At A Usually Male Dominated Field.
But I Was Determined! I Had Some Pitfalls, As We All Do In Life, Never-The-Less, I ARRIVED! I'd Undergone Two Apprenticeships In My Pursuit To Become A Master; And Then There Was A Pause....Tragedy Struck!!
This Was A Personal Moment!!... I Had To Stop And THINK About Some Things For A Moment. Lights On Again, I REGROUPED And Came Back With A Master Plan.I Have Been Back For Several Years Now As A Master And Recently Started My Second Company HAIIRSPORT MASTERS!!!
