About The Artist: Jeffrey Blake Adams PhD - Passion: You don't need "Eyes" to See,,, you need "Vision." An Artist's Vision is a Gift From God, which must be Shared to Have Life! What we do with our vision is our gift "to" God.
"It is the Photographer's duty, our Raison d'ĂȘtre, to capture that which is most beautiful, moving or inspirational, in our subjects. Whether Fine Art Portraiture, Commercial, or Scenic Art, we inherited our responsibility from the painters of the last century. We must live up to their legacy of creating images that awe the viewer, and encourage the viewer to see more, and feel more." Jeffrey Blake Adams 1992
"I Strive to; Show that which cannot be told, to evoke the viewer to tears, with overpowering emotion, with tears of utter joy! To revive Hope within the viewer as each piece has done within myself. To Delight my clients, and Offer the same talent and quality to Brides, that my fashion and fine art gallery clients enjoy. Why shouldn't Bridal Images be seen, displayed and collected as Fine Art?"
Attending lots of weddings, you see all the time, money and effort went into them yet they often can feel like every other wedding. And when a Bride & Groom are investing upwards of $250,000 - the average total budget for Jeffrey's clients' events - Old School "cookie cutter" just won't do.
"It is my goal to elevate all wedding photography and photographers to a new level of artistry and professionalism. I wish to eradicate the "wedding photographer" mentality and strive to provide talented photographers not only the techniques they need to produce fantastic imagery, but also the networking and business skills required to thrive and be able to offer total quality and continuity of service to their lifetime clients." Jeffrey Blake Adams 1998
Style:
Jeffrey Loves the sheer Elegance, Emotion, Pageantry and Grandeur of Weddings and his Specific Style of Photography reflects this Passion. "There is NOTHING on this Earth like the coming together of two families, the sharing, the raw emotion that prevails during this most sacred of days."
A Romantic at Heart, He is NOT a "Wedding" Photographer, he is a Fine Art and Fashion Photographer that lends his talent to exceptional Brides and their families. He draws upon his skill from years of Fine art and Fashion work, as well as his experience from being in the photographic arts business for over 20yrs, to adapt and innovate in the field of Wedding Photography.
Many years ago, before I did weddings, a fashion model asked; "Why can't a wedding album look like the images from this fashion shoot?" I said; "I think they should, lets make it happen." A Fine Art Collector asked; "Why can't a wedding album have images that look like your fine art works?" I Said; "I think they should, lets make it happen." I have been on a mission ever since, working, learning, teaching, growing and sharing my vision with those who love it.
He does not overpower your wedding day, You are the Star of your day. He uses his talent and technique to anticipate action, and be in the perfect position to capture it professionally as it happens. Each nuance and detail deserves to be preserved forever.
Jeffrey works closely with his clients to create lasting and unique expressions of their "life's journey." His artistic approach to photography will leave a legacy that says as much about the individuality of his clients as the images they commission. Jeff's relaxed professionalism, expertise, care and concern puts everyone at ease and makes for an enjoyable photographic experience. The spirit of his work brings an added dimension of intimacy to his images.
He loves to produce images both Grand in Tradition, and Artfully Unique. He will never "snap a picture" or just run through a list of "shots," he always strives to Create truly Artistic Images, that would be just as at home on a Gallery wall, as within a Wedding Album. These images share the emotions and details of the day, lovingly and totally immersing the viewer into the day's events.

Jeffrey Blake Adams eschews the stylized "Fashion d'norm" and using his artistic, celebratory, journalistic, meticulous, unobtrusive approach to photography, he plunges headlong into images that draw out the essence, the soul of the subject, stripping away all pretense, laying open for all to see the awesome beauty and immense hope that lies within the human heart. His sometimes over the edge images draw the viewer in, and then reveal the depth and hope crafted into each masterpiece. In a way reminiscent of the feeling that the sky is darkest just before dawn, his style often startles at first, and then reassures, almost cheers viewers, as they assimilate the whole message of each piece.
