My name is Elizabeth Anne. I am a 26-year old entrepreness from Calgary, Alberta with a shoe fascination that can rival the very best. I am the designer and patent holder of Purse n Boots, "the world's first purse for your feet".

I started this project about two years ago. At the time I was having issues keeping my purses from being lost or left behind. I’ve left them in cabs, at restaurants, in theaters and night clubs. I started keeping my phone and cash in my knee-highs (which I always wore). This worked reasonably well until the bartenders gave me change and I would have to walk around all night with coins under my foot.

After a long and unsuccessful search for boots with hidden pockets (I had assumed this would have been done before), I decided to make them myself. It started off as something I just wanted to do for me until I had amassed a list of girlfriends who also wanted a pair. I even had some of my male friends asking about them; they were tired of having to hold their girlfriend’s lipsticks.

The last two years have been fun, challenging, and extremely rewarding. Since the Purse n Boots launch in March 2011, we have been covered by Global TV, Homemakers.com, Metro, Good News Weekly, String Magazine, Fashion Signs Magazine, Shaw TV, CBC Radio, Virgin Radio, The Calgary Herald and the Canadian National Press. It’s been an amazing thing for me to watch an idea turn into a dream come true.
