David Livshin Fashion Editorial Photographer in Fairfield County, Connecticut

I have been an active photographer since the 1970's when i began my career. Initially i was a photographer for a local newspaper in my teens and was first published in October 1974 in People Magazine. Looking back now my friends say I was like the kid in the film " Almost Famous ", except with a camera. I shifted careers and formed a successful real estate company in 1988 which has allowed me the freedom of dual careers.

As the samples show my images are focused on people, and i work in both black and white and color. My images are very distinct and my earlier work has begun to appear again recently in Vanity Fair, Men's VOGUE China and Automobile. I have worked with former models, and ordinary woman who happen to be extraordinarily beautiful. Many of my subjects are as well known as are the locales. I am accepting Fashion, Editorial, Advertising and Web based assignments in the Connecticut and New York area.

I tend to work without artificial lighting and props for a more real, natural look. I am open to photographing individuals to add to my portfolio / website which illustrates the range of my work while assisting them with use of the images. I am based in Fairfield County, Connecticut.
