I’d suggest the less is more approach with automated Tweets; all kinds of subtle scheduling is possible at all times of the day even bi-weekly or posting every 3 weeks. mixing things up is best policy to mimic a human-like behavior.

The ping list is editable if you wish to do so. Ping a few times a month or when you add new content but not everyday because you can get banned for abuse.
Where To Place Your Affiliate Product Links
E-mail signatures and forum signatures are very easy to implement. If you are already a member of a forum or forums go right ahead and include your affiliate link (preferably in a pretty / cloaked format).
If you are new to a forum or about to sign up with one, post a few times, become active before adding an affiliate link to your signature.
Get the free demo of the affiliate software where applicable and try out the program. This will give you first hand experience to create more personal, informative and passionate product reviews.

Make your Twitter homepage link an affiliate link. Best if this link is disguised and made “pretty”; you can also shorten it but only as a last result.

Periodically Tweet your affiliate link using Su.pr shortening for additional Stumble Upon exposure. Use Twaitter and or Tweet Adder to automate the process. Make sure that the accompanying text of the Tweet does not sound like sales pitch but a casual mention or recommendation.
Do this only a few times a week preferable less and post your affiliate link in Tweets that contain different text every time and different times of the day. Make sure not to use up all 140 character so your Tweet can be ReTweeted.
Network on MySpace preferably with Friend Blaster Pro. Use any or all MySpace features: blogs, bulletins, messages, comments, forums and classifieds.
Spread the word on Facebook via status updates, messages and comments.
Network on YouTube via messages, comments, channel subscriptions preferably using Tube Blaster Pro.
