What Is RSS?
RSS or Really Simple Syndication is a method of receiving constantly updated links to your chosen websites.
It’s a convenient way to keep up with news and information without the conventional methods of browsing or searching. The web content much like a newspaper subscription is delivered automatically once it is setup.
The content also called a “feed” can be received directly by using an RSS reader.
What Is an RSS Reader?
An RSS reader is a small software program that collects and displays RSS feeds.
It can also be a “part” of a browser in the form of a Firefox Extension.
Where Can I Get an RSS Reader?
- Some browsers, such as the current versions of Firefox, Safari and upcoming versions of Internet Explorer have built in RSS readers.
- There are numerous RSS readers available; some are free to download and others are available for purchase.
- Many peope already have RSS readers with their current email accounts i.e. My Yahoo, My Google, MyAOL, etc.
How to Subscribe to This Blog’s RSS Feed?
- Click on any of the RSS links in this blog to display the feed’s XML code.
- From the web browser’s address bar, copy the URL (web address):
- Paste that URL into the “Add New Channel” section of the RSS reader.
The RSS feed will start to display and regularly update the list of my posts.

On the bottom of every post there is an e-mail subscription form.
And of course the E-mail addresses are never sold!!!
