In order to further promote this website I placed a list of my latest posts on my MySpace Photographer profile using the above widget.
The way for the list to be automatically updated after every new post is if the source is an RSS feed.
Why Choose Flash Widget And Not JavaScript
Feedburner’s BuzzBoost which enables to republish feeds as HTML could be an option but not with MySpace which forbids the use of JavaScript.
SpringWidgets does it with flash display which has long been the preferred method of placing outside content on MySpace profiles.
The widget can be customized and the whole setup and implementation takes less than 5 minutes.
By writing catchy blog post titles even the short attention spanned MySpace profile visitor’s brain can be pursued to click. So it is quite possible that the widget will bring visitors to my site.
After a widget is published it is placed into the Spring Widgets Gallery where others can download it and place it in their blogs or desktops.
SpringWidgets Plugin For Wordpress Users
MySpace has tons of messy code already so the not so perfect code generated by SpringWidgets will do the job.
If you are a Wordpress user SpringWidgets Plugin will ensure that your page or post containing the widget will be XHTML compliant.
To place the widget into your Wordpress template just follow the usual steps: download plugin, upload it, activate it thorough Wordpress Plugins admin panel, customize it, copy and paste it.
To place the widget into your Wordpress post or page (as I have done here) you will also need the runPHP plugin otherwise the php code cannot function.
Embed My Photography Blog Widget Into Your Website Or MySpace
