Basically this detailed post will illustrate how to collect massive amounts of relevant friend IDs from any large MySpace Group with tens of thousands of members and from Google searches.
Once these IDs are collected with the help of Friend Blaster Pro you can send them friend requests and further network with them.
The most popular Mafia Wars or Mobsters related MySpace groups are so large that first adding friends and sending them comments, messages, event invites and bulletins would be impossible by using MySpace the conventional “manual” way.
To get started Download Friend Blaster Pro FREE Demo or if you have browsed the other related tutorials in this category (see bottom of this post) and ready to own the software: Purchase Friend Blaster Pro.
If you are not familiar with the basic operation of Friend Blaster Pro there are several related posts in this category. Although the program is quite easy to figure out there are some tips, tricks and shortcuts which I discuss in detail.
So let’s get familiar with how we can maximize our Mafia Wars or Mobsters related networking efforts with FBP.
Collecting MySpace Friends From Mafia Wars And Mobsters Related MySpace Groups
Let’s log into our fully functional FREE Demo or the full version of Friend Blaster Pro and navigate to MySpace Groups page:

Alternately if you have a smaller computer screen or just wish to have more browser window space showing you can collapse Friend Blaster Pro’s sidebar on the left hand side (see where the red arrow points) so the FBP menus disappear:

On the MySpace Groups home page click “Games”:

Later you can do more specialized searches for keywords which are related to “mobsters”, “mafia wars” etc. but as we can see on the next screenshot 3 out of the top 4 MySpace groups will already yield us close to 250,000 Mafia Wars Apps users (at the time of this post):

Let’s select “MOBSTERS QUICK ADD” group, scroll down a bit and click on “View All Members”:

We are now on the screen where we can start collecting some or all 117,905 “MOBSTERS QUICK ADD” MySpace group members. The over hundred thousand members occupy 2948 pages.
Adding all these friends by hand would take a lifetime but Friend Blaster Pro will crawl all 2948 pages automatically and will collect their MySpace IDs in the form of a simple text file:

Before clicking the Start button make sure Friend Blaster Pro’s Gather IDs setting is as follows:
- Gather IDs from All pages (this setting ensures that Friend Blaster Pro crawls all pages)
- Quick Gather

The speed of Friend Blaster Pro will depend on the amount of memory in your computer and your internet connection speed but nevertheless it is a fast program on all modern computers.
To compile a huge list of over 100,000 MySpace profiles will take several hours.
For a massive task like this it is a good idea to leave Friend Blaster Pro alone and let it do its magic while you are sleeping or while running errands, although the program can be running “in the background” without problems while you are doing other tasks on your computer.
After all profiles are collected the list can be saved in a simple text file. The list can be emailed, shared, archived etc. I always save each list twice, one as a backup copy and another one as a working copy.
You can collect MySpace members with this method using these settings from any page (or multiple pages) of any length: comments, friend lists, browse results etc.
TIP: You should periodically backup of all your friends (yes, your own MySpace friends) just in case your MySpace profile gets hacked or gets deleted! Once again no matter the size of your friend list Friend Blaster Pro will do the work while you are asleep.
Adding Mafia Wars or Mobsters MySpace Friends With Friend Blaster Pro’s Built In Google Search
Besides finding Mobsters in Mafia Wars related MySpace Groups you can use the built in Google search feature of Friend Blaster Pro.
Select the checkbox “Gather IDs from Google Search” and click the Start button. A Google search box pops up as seen on this screenshot:

Enter your search term in this case “mafia wars” and click search. As you can see the Google search engine will return up to 1000 results (the same amount you get when searching the browser based Google).
In the case of “mafia wars” FBP found 856 MySpace IDs and placed them into that left hand side column.
See related posts about some handy filtering options of Friend Blaster Pro
That list can be saved or used for a variety of networking tasks. You can run multiple Google searches of course and the IDs will accumulate in your list BUT WITHOUT DUPLICATES!

By using the Google search feature you can find additional Mafia Wars mobsters who do not belong to groups.
Note: Google search will return the MySpace ID of any page that has Mafia Wars on it. This means that the owner of the page may not be a Mafia Wars or Mobsters member.
Why? Because the words you searched for maybe in one of the comments on the member’s page.
Most of the time this will not be a problem because anyone having Mafia Wars or Mobsters related comments is probably interested in your Mafia Wars or Mobsters related friend invitation.
The key here is that as long as you are sending friend requests to relevant members your networking efforts will be more fruitful than if you are sending them out to random members who are not only not interested in Mafia Wars or Mobsters but may view you as a spammer and flag you for deletion.
Nevertheless the Google search feature of Friend Blaster Pro is a powerful tool, just enter the keywords describing your niche, product, service, business or hobby and you will be getting up to 1000 relevant MySpace IDs each time you run a query!
Find MySpace Mafia Wars Mobsters With My Advanced Google Search Technique
Another great feature of Friend Blaster Pro is that it has a fully functional built in web browser (the right hand side section of the workspace).
This gave me the idea to conduct Google searches from within Friend Blaster Pro using the browser therefore extending the built in Google search feature by conducting custom searches.
Friend Blaster Pro is promoted in a way that it can collect MySpace friend IDs from virtually any page of MySpace but I have not read about this type of use. It can definitely extend the scope of your relevant MySpace friend ID gathering efforts.
To get started let’s navigate to Google search from within FBP software and do a search for:
site:myspace.com “mafia wars”
Note: under Google search preferences make sure you have “Display 100 results per page” selected. This screenshot shows where we should be now:

As you can see we have over 3 million Google search results which contain Mafia Wars. Some of these search results may not be profiles (jobs, videos, blogs etc.) but in the next segment we will employ some parameters which will narrow down our search to the most relevant members.

The appropriate settings for collecting friend IDs from these Google search result pages:
- Gather IDs from Current Page Only
- Full Gather

The limit for every Google search result is 1000. In case you get millions of results for very popular keywords you may wish to further narrow down your search so you can scan multiple 1000’s of results.
How to customize our Google search to weed out non-member profile pages in our results:
- site:myspace.com “mafia wars” male (returns only male MySpace profiles – use Full Gather option!)
- site:myspace.com “mafia wars” female (only female MySpace profiles – use Full Gather option!)
- site:myspace.com “mafia wars” california (state specific profiles – use Full Gather option!)
- site:profile.myspace.com “mafia wars” (profile.myspace.com returns profiles with “old style” MySpace URLs which include “Profile&friendID=0123456789″ – use Quick Gather option!)
- site:profile.myspace.com “mafia wars” male (only male MySpace profiles with “old style” URLs – use Quick Gather option!)
- site:profile.myspace.com “mafia wars” female (only female MySpace profiles with “old style” URLs – use Quick Gather option!)
Note: for all searches which originate from profile.myspace.com you can use Quick Gather option.
Otherwise due to recent changes made in how MySpace handles URLs use Full Gather!
This method can “chop up” the millions of results into several 1000’s. Depending on your keywords and niche you can customize these searches to fit your needs.
If you are concerned about not being able to add more than a 1000 IDs per search it is for the best anyways. As you get closer to the end of your 1000 results the relevance of the profiles decreases anyways.
You can keep checking every 100 results as you progress and if the keyword relevance of profiles drops you can stop even before reaching the last page of 1000 results.
Note: Friend Blaster Pro will not collect the same MySpace ID multiple times so you can keep on collecting IDs from all the different versions of each search and even though some of the searches will no doubt overlap you will not end up with duplicates in your list.
Friend Blaster Pro has a quick learning curve; it is a tremendous time saver and productivity tool. For more tutorials browse the related links on the bottom of this post.

This is bloody brilliant!!! Thank you sooo much!!! This makes everything sooo much easier!
