About Ferenc Ecseki Photography Blog
This photography blog was started in 2003, merely as a simple sideshow with a dozen or so images. It was programmed by a friend, using ASP.
Fast forward and with help from WordPress, my blog has been growing steadily. ASP was replaced by HTML and CSS. Advances in Search Engine Optimization allowed for more visitors to find my site. The addition of Google Adsense advertising started to pay not only for the hosting fee but became a regular source of income so I could do longer stretches of travel photography trips.
Today, the blog has several topics that represent my interest in different genres of photography. Some of these fields are: fashion, bikini, lingerie, portrait, travel, landscape, cultural, surfing, people and general photography.
The photos are accompanied by my thoughts on photography in general and by behind the scenes stories.
Over 270 unique interviews can also be read that explore the passion and creativity of beauty industry professionals: make-up artists, hairstylists, photographers, models, designers, stylists.
As times change, or subject matter gets too over saturated, some older categories were completely deleted, for example posts that had anything to do with MySpace or the Thesis WordPress theme.
The design of this blog has been improved and customized dozens of times, as I put 100′s of hours into research, experimentation and site development. I decided not to decorate this blog like a Christmas tree with too many badges, widgets, counters, etc. I always aim to provide an uncluttered layout – hence the one column design – so the content can be easily accessed by visors.
Thank you for visiting and best wishes,
Ferenc
