Model Interview With Samantha Michelle Payne Of Niagara Falls, Ontario
Q: Quick intro please, where were you born, ethnic background and what types of modeling are your favorites?
A: Born in Halifax Nova Scotia, Irish Canadian. I enjoy fashion modeling and runway.
Q: How would you describe yourself as model in three words?
A: The whole package ;)
Q: How would you describe yourself as human being in three words?
A: Energetic, outgoing, personable.
Q: What’s controversial or unique about you?
A: My personality is like no other, I adapt well and people are drawn to me.
Q: Which celebrity have you been told you resemble (if any)?
A: Drew Barrymore, Kate Hudson, Cameron Diaz.
Q: Which ONE superpower would you choose to have?
A: To fly.
Q: What are your turn ons and turn offs?
A: Things that turn me on are healthy living, enjoying life, family people. things that turn me off are rudeness, dishonesty, discrimination.
Q: What is your favorite part about your body?
A: My favorite part about my body is my breasts because they are perfect in my eyes ;)
Q: What is your favorite or most exciting aspect about being a model?
A: I love being in front of the camera, Ive always loved attention.
Q: Do you have any beauty / skin care tips or tricks to look fresh and rested for early morning photoshoots?
A: Eating lots of fruit like berries and such, because they are full of antioxidants. Doing a wokout like yoga would help too.
Q: What’s the funniest thing that happened to you on a photoshoot or fashion show?
A: At this photoshoot I was told to stay in a position that was kind of awkward and I cramped up, I couldn’t move after the picture was taking.
Q: Did you always wanted to be an model, or did you stumble upon it, get discovered etc.? Who or what inspired you to become a model?
A: Ever since I was little I loved the idea, Id have fashion shows in my hallway with girlfriends, even by myself. I was inspired by magazines and tv shows.
Q: Who is your favorite photographer, designer, high-fashion model and celebrity? Why?
A: Andrea Klarin, aqua di lara, Naomi Campbell, Jessica Alba.
Q: Which is your single most favorite (must have on a deserted island) magazine? Why?
A: Cosmopolitan magazine because it was always my sisters favorite.
Q: What would you like to change about yourself if you can choose only one thing?
A: I would change my thin under eye skin because it causes me to have dark under eyes :(
Q: Have you had any negative experiences with model agencies, talent scouts? What are top 3 warning signs to look out for?
A: I haven’t had much experience but Ive heard of agencies asking for lots of money for everything, to me if they see you have potential they will make their money back in the long run, bad reviews is a sign as well as not being very well known.
Q: What do you think about the show America’s Next Top Model? Who is cast, past winners, show format, etc.?
A: I like the show, its a great opportunity for aspiring models.
Q: What are your thoughts on beauty pageants, contestants and pageant moms?
A: I think if its what someone really wants to go for it but some moms take it way to far.
Q: Would you work for a client that uses fur? What is the best way to balance personal beliefs and client needs?
A: I would suggest faux fur, there’s ways around everything and business sometimes is about compromise.
Q: Do you do any type of charity work?
A: I don’t really do much charity work but I help business’s, people or friends in need when I can. I have lots of ideas to help people just never know how to start them
Q: What tips and advice do you have for aspiring models just starting out, something you wish someone would’ve told you ?
A: Well im still aspiring but, I would say put yourself out there don’t give up and do as much work as you can even if it doesn’t mean a paycheck
Q: Would you share some of your future goals, your life motto, any words of wisdom that get you by in life and professional career? I would like to have some sort of career in the modeling industry, I hope to travel and network with important people. My life motto is live life to the fullest and don’t let anyone bring you down. words of wisdom.. BE YOURSELF! <3
