Rainforest Fashion with Asian Bikini Model
Rain in the rainforest is not surprising but it can definitely put a bikini photoshoot on hold. The beautiful bamboo forest just before Manoa Falls provided the location.
Instead of packing up and going home the model’s own rain jacket was used as the wardrobe.
Adopting to unexpected situations, improvising, being flexible is the surest way to get unique and interesting photos.
Admittedly we had to cut the shoot short and unfortunately the usual several hundred shots were not taken but if one memorable image is captured, the photoshoot was productive!
Jenny has an amazing face and the diffused light from the overcast sky provided excellent conditions. The following picture is the final Photoshopped version of the best shot of the day.
This is the original photo the above image was created from. A truly stunning will face always retains its beauty no matter how it is framed; let it be a trucker hat, short hair, rain coat hoodie, etc.
The soft diffused light from the overcast sky provided great mood and dramatic shadows on the model’s face. Those shadows can be brightened or eliminated with the use of reflector but I am not a big fan of that technique plus I shoot alone without assistants.

We had a couple of minutes before the rain really started so we stopped by a magnificent bamboo forest to take a few bikini modeling photos. There was not much light so the photos gained a dark background which was fine for this purpose.

Here is another version after which off we went … home.
