Q: Quick intro please, where were you born, ethnic background and what types of modeling are your favorites?
A: I was born in Pretoria, South Africa, however my parents moved around alot when I was growing up. I am back here now though.
Q: Which celebrity have you been told you resemble (if any)?
A: When I was younger, Avril Lavigne and recently, Uma Thurman. (I could never see either)
Q: How would you describe yourself as model in three words?
A: Up for anything!
Q: How would you describe yourself as human being in three words?
A: Happy, energetic, bouncy
Q: What’s controversial or unique about you?
A: I REALLY do not give a crap what anyone thinks. I am my own person.
Q: Which ONE superpower would you choose to have?
A: To fly
Q: What are your turn ons and turn offs?
A: Ons: Humour, intelligence, fun
Offs: Vanity, rudeness, fighting
Q: What is your favorite part about your body?
A: My bum
Q: What is your favorite or most exciting aspect about being a model?
A: Oh it has to be doing the shoot. I have so much fun haha. It’s all about freaking out and being crazy, even if it’s a serious shoot.
Q: Do you have any beauty / skin care tips or tricks to look fresh and rested for early morning photoshoots?
A: Sleep, sleep and sleep.
Q: What’s the funniest thing that happened to you on a photoshoot or fashion show?
A: LOL I was doing a shoot for “Verkrag” last year. It was topless and very bloody. So I’m standing in this field, with 3 guys, full of blood, and these random people decided to take a walk through the field. Haha that was quite interesting.
Q: Did you always wanted to be an model, or did you stumble upon it, get discovered etc.? Who or what inspired you to become a model?
A: I did some fashion shows when I was really young, but never found it very interesting. However when i discovered alternative modeling, I was hooked!!
Q: Who is your favorite photographer and model? Why?
A: Photographer, Renier Keyter. Model, Dita Von Teese. They are both very unique.
Q: Which is your single most favorite (must have on a deserted island) magazine? Why?
A: I don’t really do magazines
Q: What would you like to change about yourself if you can choose only one thing?
A: Stretchmarks!!!!
Q: Have you had any negative experiences with model agencies, talent scouts? What are top 3 warning signs to look out for?
A: They seldom like alternative models.
Q: What do you think about the show America’s Next Top Model? Who is cast, past winners, show format, etc.?
A: Not really my thing.
Q: What are your thoughts on beauty pageants, contestants and pageant moms?
A: Beauty pageants are plain dumb!!
Q: Would you work for a client that uses fur? What is the best way to balance personal beliefs and client needs?
A: Never!! You should NEVER EVER change who you are just for a shoot.
Q: What tips and advice do you have for aspiring models just starting out, something you wish someone would’ve told you ?
A: Always be yourself, never change for anyone and never do anything you feel uncomfortable with
Q: Would you share some of your future goals, your life motto, any words of wisdom that get you by in life and professional career?
A: Just live your life to the full. Do the best you can, because you best is good enough!
