A: Just wash your face every morning actually, so then you’ll end up with that fresh and rested face for an early morning shoot.

Q: What’s the funniest thing that happened to you on a photoshoot or fashion show?
A: Well, when my photographer and i was on the beach during a session, this girl and a couple of photographers were walking our way and they stopped right by us. Then my photographer was like, i’m not moving. We were here first! Then they moved down. To me it was kind of funny because we thought they expected us to move, which we weren’t.
Q: Did you always wanted to be an model, or did you stumble upon it, get discovered etc.? Who or what inspired you to become a model?
A: No, when i was younger i didn’t want to become a model. But three years ago, my uncle met this girl who is a model. Her and i got close within a year, and i saw her modeling pictures and that’s when she inspired me.
Q: Who is your favorite photographer, designer, high-fashion model and celebrity? Why?
A: To be honest, i don’t really have a favorite photographer. I’ve only worked with two photographers. But if i had to choose, i’d choose J.Will because i’ve worked with him a few times now and he’s just a great person to work with. My favorite designer would be Louis Vuitton because to me, their style most interests me. And my favorite high-fashion model be Tyra Banks because i saw her photos and i watch her show and she’s just another inspiration to me.
Q: Which is your single most favorite (must have on a deserted island) magazine? Why?
A: Seventeen Magazine because it has tons of advice and fashion updates. I just love the styles that they chose to put in the magazine.
Q: What would you like to change about yourself if you can choose only one thing?
A: If i could change one thing about myself, it would be my breasts. I know im still developing but I of course take from my mothers side of the family which they don’t have large breast.
Q: Have you had any negative experiences with model agencies, talent scouts? What are top 3 warning signs to look out for?
A: Not any model agencies but many talent scouts and one photographer. Every business that have came to Hawai’i and said hey are searching for talent i’ve tried out. I always get in, but then they say we have to pay to start my dream? Not what looking for. then there’s this photographer who likes to take pictures of young girls, no matter the age. He tells them to dress sexy casual, lingerie, sexy pj’s and that kind of stuff. Then he’ll go and ask that young girl if she wants to shoot nude? GROSS!

So top 3 warning signs to look out for are:
1. If the photographer asks if you can just get dropped off to the shoot with no adult supervision, he/she is untrusted.
2. If a business comes down and is searching for talent, don’t do it because almost all talent searchers takin in kids, but they end up paying big money.
3. If the business say they are working with Disney Channel or Nickelodeon, they only say that to get more kids to go to he meeting and try out.
Q: What do you think about the show America’s Next Top Model? Who is cast, past winners, show format, etc.?
A: I love that show! I’ve watched almost all of the episodes. The past winners i’m satisfied with because they worked hard to become America’s next top model.
Q: What are your thoughts on beauty pageants, contestants and pageant moms?
A: Beauty pageants, i’ll certainly do. Anything that will help me pursue my dream, i’ll take it.
Q: Would you work for a client that uses fur? What is the best way to balance personal beliefs and client needs?
A: Well, i’m not really against using fur. But i mean, its just a trend and most people need to respect that.
Q: Do you do any type of charity work?
A: No.
Q: What tips and advice do you have for aspiring models just starting out, something you wish someone would’ve told you ?
A: Don’t be afraid of the camera. Just be yourself and you’ll do just fine. Also, don’ let others’ opinions bother you.
Q: Would you share some of your future goals, your life motto, any words of wisdom that get you by in life and professional career?
A: If you have a dream go for it. Don’t stop until you’ve reached it. But if it takes you whole life, then it wasn’t meant to be.
