British Alternative Fashion Model Interview: Emmy AngelFace Of Oxford
Q: Quick intro please, where were you born, ethnic background and what types of modeling are your favorites?
A: I’m from Oxford in the UK, I have an alternative style with the odd random “fashionable items”, Mainly lolita, gothic geisha, victorian and a bit of PVC.
I do NOT do nud3 or topless, I do IMPLIED to what I am comfortable with. I love both themed and random shoots. i love modeling and having fun.
Q: Would you work for a client that uses fur? What is the best way to balance personal beliefs and client needs?
A: I wouldn’t ever wear real fur. I believe fake fur looks better, you cant even tell the difference. only feel but that’s not the case when you wear it, you want it too look good.
Q: How would you describe yourself as model in three words?
A: Reliable, Creative and hardworking
Q: How would you describe yourself as human being in three words?
A: Caring, fun and friendly
Q: What’s controversial or unique about you?
A: I feel I have a unique effect of making people feel relaxed around me.
Q: Which ONE superpower would you choose to have?
A: telekinesis
Q: What are your turn ons and turn offs?
A: I’m not quite sure really, sometimes just the way someone can touch my skin
Q: What is your favorite part about your body?
A: My eyes
Q: What is your favorite or most exciting aspect about being a model?
A: meeting new people and creating images that can inspire
Q: Do you have any beauty / skin care tips or tricks to look fresh and rested for early morning photoshoots?
A: Don’t go out partying at least 2 nights before, sudocreme is good for spots and reducing redness on skin, moisturise skin IF it starts to feel a little dry. use thin layers of foundation(sometimes it can dry ur skin out)
Q: Did you always want to be an model, or did you stumble upon it, get discovered etc.? Who or what inspired you to become a model?
A: I always wanted to model, but my sister pushed me forward and we started out together. :)
Q: Who is your favorite photographer, designer, high-fashion model and celebrity? Why?
A: I have many Photographers that I like, models and designers, so ill say a few, D Strange Photography, Giles PJ Photography, Sabre Art, love child boudoir, Models: Cora Porcelain, Sabina Kelley etc.
Q: Which is your single most favorite (must have on a deserted island) magazine? Why?
A: I don’t actually read magazines, but i do read books ;)
Q: What would you like to change about yourself if you can choose only one thing?
A: My weight, id like to lose the weight i always seem to put on.
Q: What’s the funniest thing that happened to you on a photoshoot or fashion show?
A: I fell of a lamp post :)
Q: Have you had any negative experiences with model agencies, talent scouts? What are top 3 warning signs to look out for?
A: You can usually tell in what they put on there profiles and how they rite on it, how they contact you and what they say, then there’s meeting up with them, sometimes you just cant tell till you’ve met them. iv had to find out in a few occasions when iv finally got there to shoot.
Q: What do you think about the show America’s Next Top Model? Who is cast, past winners, show format, etc.?
A: I think this is a typical show, you don’t really see models of a bigger size, only stick thin typical good looking models, they kinda all look the same. they don’t have enough variety of looks.
Q: What are your thoughts on beauty pageants, contestants and pageant moms?
A: I think they are silly, they cause more insecurity then they care to realise. especially with younger children. I also feel its abit superficial.
Q: Do you do any type of charity work?
A: No but id like to, its fun :)
Q: What tips and advice do you have for aspiring models just starting out, something you wish someone would’ve told you ?
A: Don’t let people beat you down, regardless of what horrible things may be said. and don’t let anyone ever make you feel your not good enough.
Q: Would you share some of your future goals, your life motto, any words of wisdom that get you by in life and professional career?
A: Always be yourself and never let anyone pressure you into doing things you don’t want to do, always have respect for yourself, your body and other people. Believe in yourself and you’ll go far.
